The Andy Device™ is a custom molded arch support that realigns the foot into a more normal anatomical position. This reduces stress across the bones, joints and soft tissues allowing children to walk, run and play without pain. Most children experience benefits within 2 weeks of consistent wear. Significant relief of fatigue and pain is typical by weeks 4-6 as the child adapts to the orthotic.

Unlike prefab inserts, the Andy Device™ is a true UCBL orthosis—hand-formed with a deep heel cup and high flanges designed specifically from your child’s feet. Over-the-counter insoles are one-size-fits-all foam pads with minimal support that can collapse within weeks. The Andy Device offers the quality and effectiveness of a clinic-made orthotic at a fraction of the cost and without requiring multiple doctor visits.
Most labs mill polypropylene shells on flat routers, but those machines can’t carve the under-cuts required for a true UCBL—the deep heel cup and high medial/lateral flanges that lock the foot in place. Hand-forming allows our technicians to create the precise anatomical shape your child’s feet need for optimal correction and durability.
By capturing the heel in a 30 mm cup and supporting the arch with extended flanges, the device realigns the foot’s bones and joints into a more normal position. This reduces abnormal forces and stress on the bones, joints, and soft tissues of the foot, promoting healthy growth and preventing secondary deformities.
Minor relief (less fatigue, fewer “my feet hurt” complaints) often shows up in 1–2 weeks. Consistent functional improvement—better activity tolerance and gait normalization—typically appears within 4–6 weeks as the foot adapts to the corrected position.
Clinic audits show children achieve 60–90% reduction in baseline pain and functional limitations when wearing the device consistently. Success depends on consistent daily use, appropriate shoe selection, and age at initiation—younger children typically see faster adaptation.
Your molding kit ships the same business day if ordered before 12 PM MST. After we receive the slipper socks (typically 5–7 days), our lab creates your custom orthotics. Total time from order to delivery is approximately 2–3 weeks.
The complete kit is $437.00. That covers the molding socks, lab fees, custom UCBL pair, return shipping, and easy-to-follow instructions. One kit treats both feet. There are no hidden fees or additional charges.
Most plans exclude pediatric orthotics, but FSA and HSA cards are accepted. Even after typical co-pays for custom orthotics ($50–$100), you save significantly compared to clinic-based alternatives ($600–$900 per pair).
Yes. The shell is intentionally slim so it slips into most sneakers, school shoes, and cleats. The low-profile design doesn’t require special shoes and works with your child’s existing footwear.
Designed for children 4–18 years with flexible (reducible) flatfoot, pronation-related knee pain, or other conditions requiring arch support and foot stabilization. Consult our team if you’re unsure whether the Andy Device is right for your child.
